I thought it was bad when Chief Justice Rehnquist gave the commencement address at my graduation in 2001. This year, the Commencement Committee found an even bigger right-wing extremist scumbag.

The 43rd President of these here United States will be speaking at the Calvin College Commencement this year.

In order to even things out cosmically, I'm sure that Noam Chomsky will be giving the Commencement Address next year.

yeah right.

Not only do we get to be abashed to live in this bloodthirsting leviathan of state, with its pitbull administration, but now our own school has besmirched itself by foisting an extremist dedicated to collapsing the principles (Um, to name a few... shit, where to begin?) I had once gathered Calvin College stood for. But let's face it: as an institution, Calvin is a bastion for hypocrisy.
(Not that that's it's singular strength).

I just realized I put in an unecessary apostrophe - should read: "its singular strength".

Hey Brian!

It's Jennifer Musial here - past BG'er, current Yorkie and fellow Canadian :) Anyway, I've been told to get in touch with you as the only person I know who studies theology. Have a question for you - can you email me with your email address so I can send you my question?
