This kind of thing is terrific. You see a lot of cornier stuff in LA - like Jesus coloring books being sold at hipster stores, etc. The poster reminds me of a film I once saw the cover of - it was something like 'Jesus, Vampire Hunter' or something. I should watch that.
That is awesome. Have you ever heard of Barry Taylor? I'm taking a class from him here at Fuller, and reading a book of his A Matrix of Meanings). This kind of silliness seems right up his alley, I've gotta show it to him.
Hey bnjmn. The movie is called, J"esus Christ, Vampire Slayer" I believe. It is a musical about Jesus' second coming. When Jesus returns he finds the world being taken over by a league of lesbian vampires immune to sunlight. It is his divine job to conquer them with the skill of a martial artist. The main song of the film is "Tonight everyone gets laid." Other moments in the film is when Jesus gets a fashion make over. I have not seen it yet, but I have friends who have watched it and after hearing about so many times I feel I've seen it.
